Rescheduling, Cancellation & Withdrawals
Written Exam
The written exam is fully virtually proctored and is available online 24/7. No rescheduling fees apply.
Exam fee refunds may be issued to candidates who no longer wish to pursue their Certified Concrete Pump Operator certification at the discretion of the Program Director.
Practical Exam
After your practical exam is scheduled and confirmed, if changes or cancellations are needed, the assessor or the BCCSA must receive notification as soon as possible to avoid penalties or other applicable fees.
If a candidate must reschedule a Practical Exam for reasons outside of their control, such as force majeure, rescheduling fees may be waived at the Program Director's discretion. Otherwise, rescheduling fees apply as follows:
- Over 11 days before the Exam: N/A
- 5–11 days before the Exam: $200
- 2–5 days before the Exam: $400
- 1–2 days before the Exam: $500
- Day of exam (6 hours or less notice): $750
Candidates who are a “no show” for the examination will forfeit all application fees and will NOT receive a refund.
NOTE: Examinations outside the Lower Mainland requiring overnight travel must be cancelled or rescheduled more than 11 days out from the scheduled date of the examination to avoid a rescheduling fee. Rescheduling and cancellation means the exam cannot take place during the previously agreed upon allotted timeframe for the trip. Any rescheduling requests or cancellation requests made within 11 days of the scheduled date are subject to fees up to and including the forfeiture of the practical examination fee ($1,500 + GST). Candidates must repurchase and reschedule their exam.
